Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Elisabeth T. Vasko is associate professor of theology at Duquesne University and author of Beyond Apathy: A Theology for Bystanders (Fortress 2015). Her work has focused on theological justifications for violence and discrimination and the role that Christian theology and faith communities have played in resisting violence. Prior to her work in academia, she served as a youth and young adult minister in Chicago.





Lyndsie Ferrara is a teaching assistant professor of forensic science and law at Duquesne University. Her primary areas of research relate to ethics education in forensic science as well as DNA mixture interpretation. She is a former biologist at the U.S. Army Crime Investigation Laboratory and a forensics specialist/contractor for the Department of Justice’s International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program.
