Nae-nae

She was only 18, so full of life, ambition, joy, and love.
The day she was called home was from our father up above.
She needed more time as a human, so why must she convert to a dove?
I'd rather have her here with me, and not watching from above.

The one that took her life don't know what she meant to me.
Because the love for my cousin will make me send her home the day
  she's free.
Nae-Nae was the baby of the Gilberts she's a part of the originals.
I was off work when my cousin was dying where the hell was the signals.

I would have been there before the girl even pulled out the knife.
And took a charge for beating her, before taking my cousins life.
I know it was God's will but it just don't seem right.
Who the hell is she to decide when you've had your last night?

You are my uncle's only child, who's messed up beyond life itself.
I know he would give his all until there's nothing left.
To be honest life just isn't the same since the day that you left.
I never forgot about you, just try not to think about what happened, I
  just hold my breathe.
I try not to speak too much, but I never let my mind rest.
I heard God testes us, but when am I going to see the end of the test.
He wakes me up every morning, with that I thank him, I understand
  the word bless.
And I know you're well taken care of now, I just have to see it for myself.


Hood Friends

My hood friends are all crazy they don't care about shit.
They just live to turn up every day they be lit.
If any of them feel disrespected your whole block just might get hit.
No talking at all, just hold up them things, point the choppa and spit.

The highlights of their lives is every first through fifteenth.
Because that's the time they pockets are guaranteed to gain some length.
Don't let them call the card and it say zero dollars and zero cent.
Cause they're going press out the government as if they have to pay rent.

Getting high and bagging bitches is the only thing on their mind.
I love women too, but their mind-set isn't similar to mine.
While they trap I'm on a clock, but we all on the grind.
They all do hand to hand while my jobs are depositing mine.

My hood friends are good friends, they stay with you through whatever.
When everything isn't all good or you experiencing some shady weather.
Whether we share blood or not none of that even matters.
Our friendship wouldn't end, we writing chapters after chapters.

I wouldn't disown my hood friends, because I came from the hood.
Where violence is accepted and everyone's thinking isn't all good.
They love where they came from, but would probably leave if they could.
So, I pray they make it out before their kids inherits the hood.


Love is like

Love is like a gentle breeze or a breathe of fresh air.
Some people want to inhale it and some just don't care.
Love is also another way we choose to express.
The hurt, lies, and the anger within our chest.

Love is more then just a four letter word.
I'm sure there are a million definitions I haven't heard
Love isn't just limited to a boy and a girl.
But also a boy and a boy or a girl and a girl.

From a time of a strict, harsh, and close-minded world.
To marrying whoever and whatever you like, its now a free world.
So when it comes to love don't cheat, twist, or misuse it.
Because good will always come from it, so please don't abuse it.

Love is like a fire, one that can't be tamed or put out.
Or a tune filling your vocals that make you want to shout.
Love is like a caged animal just waiting to get out.
Laying dormant within our bodies, waiting to show us what its about.

Love is one of those good pains, its one that we long for.
And it can't be purchased so don't go looking in no damn store.
This is an opinion Ashlee had given me on a June night.
I asked her for an idea and she told me what love was like.


Talking doesn't help

Talking doesn't always help, so why should I open up.
I'd rather drive to LAX purchase some Hennessy and pour up.
Next I'm going to walk to 7-11 to get the red bull to mix up.
But before I leave out, I have to get the ice and a big gulp cup.

After a few cups they still want to talk to me.
I never value what they say because opinions are free.
Even if I want to open up my conscious keeps battling me.
Telling me to say what I want, just don't be discussing me.

Even my conscious on point, because it stops me from speaking.
Saying the answers are within me we just have to keep seeking.
Eyes closed my mind clear, so where the hell is the answer?
I'm not finding it alone, so I ignore my peers and don't answer.

So, before they get too close I stop them on their track.
Because the way I been feeling lately, no one has my back.
I tried opening up before and life gave me a few slaps.
I've been down that road before, so no more falling for traps.

So, before you expect me to talk, remember you been in this position too.
And just like I am now, you didn't want anyone talking to you.
We feel like we're broken, torn, or maybe cut into two.
Have to put ourselves together without talking, we just need some good glue.


Negative people

Negative people are some of the worse people in the world.
Men are kind of okay, but its worse when it's a girl.
Because they birth the next generations that'll inherit the world.
So, you know what that means, negative rulers negative world.

They downplay everything gossiping bad about all.
All because they're doing bad with their backs against the wall.
Watch other build an empire just hoping and wishing it would fall.
All because their dreams shattered to pieces, they simply fail to stand tall.

Negative people are so influential when it comes to those who are feeble
  minded.
Getting other to sign with them with no hesitation, and people verbally
  signed it.
I felt it didn't affect me, so like a fool I never mind it.
Until negativity choked me...
