A story of sin & redemption... centering on 3 lost souls, in a modern Garden Of Eden. Trouble is the compelling story of an indomitable, high-spirited horse. One a local vet calls, “Hell... on four legs." That applies to Eve, too. Well, Evangeline: aka “Missy. She is a femme fatale; and as that name implies: beautiful, seductive, mysterious and downright dangerous. Mel, aka "Shorty," is Missy's new husband; but his well-known fondness for "chasing anything in a short skirt... or a tight pair of blue jeans," is a given; and so is "Doc" "falling in lust" with "Missy." Right from the get-go. Luke is Shorty's right hand man. He simply wants to do his job, keep Shorty happy, and steer clear of all the on-going drama. A colorful cast of supporting characters: Calvin, Annabelle, Asa (a preacher), Asa's wife: Usebea, cafe ladies, the Feed Store crowd... and no shortage of intrigue, make Trouble a must read for anyone wanting to be entertained, challenged, and inspired.
