Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Born on October 31,1957,the same day as Robert Pollard,the dedicatee of the book,Thax Douglas started writing seriously in 1987,influenced by Anne Sexton and Jack Kerouac. He started reading at the Green Mill poetry slam but stopped in 1991 when it stopped being fun.He is well known for hosting rock shows at the legendary Lounge Ax club,as well as a weekly poetry feature Sunday nights at Myopic Bookstore in Wicker Park.He plans on touring extensively with this book so watch for him in your area.
