The 366 day devotional, Tozer on the Holy Spirit is a true gem. "The idea of the Spirit held by the average church member is so vague as to be nearly non-existent."

Tozer lays this indictment on the church in the first few weeks of this 366-day devotional on the Holy Spirit. He sees the Holy Spirit as "buried dynamite" in the modern church. A.W. Tozer discusses a force powerful enough to blow open spiritual pitfalls that plague the stagnant believer but is largely unrealized in today s world.

This devotional goes through many of the defining characteristics of the Holy Spirit. Each day emphasizes a building of the believer's internal altar; to hunger and thirst after the Spirit of God. A.W. Tozer simplifies many of the basic aspects of the Christian faith, asserting that there is even no worship without the Holy Spirit. This yearlong devotional will leave you with a greater sense of your place in the Kingdom of God, as well as a fellowship with God s Spirit. After all, we are to "enter into the fullness of the Spirit so that God s Son may be glorified in us!"

"Tozers ability to separate the wheat from the chaff; the lesser from the greater; reflects his great vision of God." - Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer
