Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Charles (Chuck) Feil’s professional photography career began in 1966, and he counts among his many credits work on the Jane Goodall World of Wildlife Series. For the past 10 years he has combined his love of flying with his photography. Chuck shoots his photographs at the same time he pilots his gyroplane, Rooty Kazooty, over America’s landscapes. His previous books have been top sellers and cover regions from Maine to Florida.As a direct result of this adventure, "Napa Valley - A View from Above" is a collaboration with his talented friend Ernest Rose and the first book under their own publishing label, VFA Publishing. Charles is a former resident of the San Francisco Bay area, but now makes his home in Portland, Maine.

Since 1975, Ernest (Ernie) Rose has had a passion for working with startup businesses to establish them as nationally recognized firms providing quality products and services. In 1985 he became the corporate advertising manager for the national franchise firm Mail Boxes Etc. USA in San Diego, CA and helped grow the business over 700% in 3 years. Leaving the corporate world, Ernie moved back to Maine where he firmly established Rose Designs as a leading advertising and design studio in southwestern Maine, while also opening a metaphysical center, and publishing a statewide, monthly newspaper. With over 25 years experience in the graphic design, printing and advertising industries, Ernie brings to VFA Publishing an eye for detail, creative design, and a focus on high quality printing.
