Antibiotic growth promoters have been used in animal diets for centuries before they have been forbidden in livestock feeding in EU last decide. Undoubtedly, growth promoters has a fundamental role as a growth and healthy stimulant, but there is an increasing a worldwide public and governmental pressure for alternatives to antibiotics.
