Inhaltsangabe:

In the first Waldorf School, Rudolf Steiner, philosopher, scientist, artist, and spiritual investigator, imagined the faculty of his revolutionary new educational ideas as the mediators between the earth and the cosmos. He called the faculty, "the college of teachers," as the faculty meetings were designed to be the places of ongoing study within the Waldorf school. His picture required of the teachers steadfast meditative work on behalf of the children and of the school. This idea has created some confusion of the decades since 1919, when the first Waldorf school opened. This principle of all Waldorf schools is explained carefully and fully in, "Thy Will Be Done: The Task of the College of Teachers in Waldorf Schools," Clarity and perceptivity are the characteristics of this useful book in explaining the exact task of a college in a Waldorf school. The necessity of the college of teachers is described and the power of the college in brining spiritual strength and guidance to the teachers and through them to the school is made clear.Teachers, parents, and all participants in Waldorf school communities will find help and inspiration in Trostli's explanations in "They Will Be Done: The Task of the College of Teachers in Waldorf Schools."
