A programme of lessons that helps students develop their thinking through drama, music and visual arts. The Think Ahead! Developing through the Arts series is a carefully researched programme which helps students develop their Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) through drama, music and the visual arts. Each book includes 10 motivating lessons, written by specialist teachers which can be used independently or together to create an effective approach to developing thinking across the arts curriculum. Think Ahead! Developing through the Arts provides ideal learning opportunities and contexts for the effective development of a pupil's PLTS. PLTS underpin the whole curriculum and transform students engagement with learning. They support learners understanding of themselves, as well as their relationship with others and the world around them.
