First UK Edition hardback with no jacket. Ex Library book with usual stamps, no pages removed but some label residue to front pastedown and ffep. In overall good condition, illustrated boards are a little shelfworn to edges. Binding tight, no annotations or inscriptions. Page edges a little dusty, a few slight marks here and there and the dedication page has a small unclosed tear to leading edge, but text clean and clear throughout.
