Alanna has worked as a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) in psychiatric hospitals with children, adolescents, and adults. She has also spent time working with youth-at-risk, as a church youth group leader, ropes course facilitator, camp counselor, and coach. Alanna has a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and is the author of the popular books "104 Activities That Build", "Team-Building Activities for Every Group", "More Team-Building Activities for Every Group" and "The wRECking Yard of games and activities". These books led to her success as a speaker, leading "TAG" (Therapeutic Activities and Games) Workshops around the country.
