His research focus is on methods for industrial software engineering, as well as the effects of digital transformation on enterprises. Dr. Matthias Book is Associate Professor for Software Engineering at the University of Iceland. His research focus is on facilitating communication between business and technical stakeholders in large software projects, and on pragmatic approaches to requirements engineering and modeling of complex software systems.
