The Swing

When little Angel begins Montessori school, she can't wait to tell her daddy about her exciting first day. As he pushes her high on the swing in their yard, she asks if he could build one beneath the great oak tree at her new school. Wanting to make his little girl smile, he gladly does. But when Angel's daddy gives his life trying to save another man, the swing he built becomes a lasting reminder of his love. Through treasured memories, family, faith, and the promise of God's unfailing love, Angel discovers that love never truly leaves us. Inspired by a true story, The Swing gently explores childhood grief, faith, and remembrance through one father's final act of love, reminding young readers that love lives on in the memories we cherish and the hope we find in God.
