Olivia Parker is done with men. Tired of being on the lookout for her next romantic fling, Olivia has decided to embark on a month of celibacy. Along the way, she joins an adventure group where other outgoing spirits can explore all that the picturesque city of Vancouver has to offer. Of course, just when she's done with men, Olivia meets Nathan McTavish, a charismatic man who recently moved from Scotland. While Olivia was raised by her grandmother before bouncing from foster family to foster family, Nathan has five siblings and a nurturing mother and father. His views on family are at complete odds with Olivia's, which is fine until the two start to explore their relationship and contemplate a future with each other. What was meant to be a summer of adventure is transformed into a heady, erotic romance that has Olivia doubting everything she has thought about herself and what it means to belong. The only question is if her world and Nathan's can work together.
