The compelling and popular adventures of Sullie Seagull, Goffinet McLaren’s super hero in “Sullie Saves the Seas” have been converted into a story coloring book to help reinforce the importance of Sullie’s mission---to protect our beaches while tackling the problems of plastic litter. McLaren uses the savvy seagull and his band of birds in the Secret Society to teach humans how things plastic are destroying his beautiful Turtle Beach and his beloved ocean pals. Chapter by chapter, Sullie’s clever schemes capture the heart of readers as they fly through the gripping and exciting adventures while laughing, loving and learning. The new story coloring book is a hybrid genre with an educational twist, suitable for readers of all ages.

Goffinet was born and grew up in the small Norman town of Carrickfergus, on the banks of the Belfast Lough in Northern Ireland. Having spent most of her childhood surrounded by the sea, she was immersed in the scenic beauty of the ocean. At that time, the waters were clean, pristine and marine life was abundant. Upon retirement, Goffinet soon discovered to her great dismay that ubiquitous plastic litter had taken a devastating toll upon her beloved ocean. Adopting Sullie Seagull as her alter ego, she embarked on a world-wide crusade to engage children and their parents in an effort to rectify the damage that plastic has inflicted on marine life.
