A Stranger in the House

Karen and Tom Krupp are glad—they have a beautiful home in upstate New York, they're for all intents and purposes love birds, and they have no children to intrude on their agreeable coexistence. Be that as it may, multi day, Tom returns home to discover Karen has vanished—her auto's gone and it appears she exited in a surge. She even left her handbag—finish with telephone and ID—behind. There's a thump on the entryway—the police are there to take Tom to the doctor's facility where his better half has been conceded. She had a fender bender, and lost control as she sped through the most exceedingly bad piece of town. The mishap has left Karen with a blackout and a couple of scratches. All things considered, she's for the most part alright—with the exception of that she can't recollect what she was doing or where she was the point at which she slammed. The cops think her memory misfortune is exceptionally advantageous, and they presume she was planning something sinister. Karen returns home with Tom, resolved to recuperate and proceed onward with her life. At that point she understands something's been moved. Something's not exactly right. Somebody's been in her home. Furthermore, the police won't quit making inquiries. Since in this house, everybody's an outsider. Everybody has something they'd rather keep covered up. Something they may even execute to stay silent.
