How many times have you asked your child 'What happened at school today?' and received nothing but silence?
Story Swapping, written by veteran educator Vassi Rombis can help open the door to a family conversation.

Woven into this story are themes of quality time, family traditions, storytelling, and the message that every day in a child's life is unique and memorable.

Story Swapping A Family Tradition introduces readers to Kalianne, a little girl who loves stories – especially the ones her mother shares. When she finds out that her beloved quilt was once her mom’s, she wants to surprise her mom with an adventure story of her own. But Kalianne believes that nothing exciting ever happens to a four-year-old.

With a little nudge from her teacher, Kalianne learns that everyone has a story to tell and how they tell it can become a cherished family tradition.
