Über die Autorinnen und Autoren:
Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. in Applied Statistics and Research Methods from the University of Northern Colorado. His research interests include statistics education, statistical process control, and statistical methods. His work has appeared in journals such as Communications in Statistics: Simulation and Computation, Journal of Modern Applied Statistics Methods, Interstat: Statistics on the Internet, Journal of Nursing Education, and Journal of Management and Marketing Research. He teaches graduate-level statistics courses for both master's and doctoral students and provides statistical support for faculty and students at the Mennonite College of Nursing. Dr. Kim currently serves as Professor and College Statistician at the Mennonite College of Nursing.
Caroline Mallory, PhD, RN, is the Interim Dean at Illinois State University Mennonite College of Nursing. She completed bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She earned her Ph.D. in nursing science with a minor in women's studies from Indiana University and completed her postdoctoral research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She started her faculty career at Illinois State University in 2000, earning tenure and the rank of professor before serving as the graduate program director and associate dean for research from 2010 to 2017. She is the immediate past Dean of the Indiana State University College of Health and Human Services. Dr. Mallory has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles and presentations, focusing on prevention, public health, and women's health. She is an accomplished educator, teaching across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs both in the classroom and in clinical settings.
Teresa D. Valerio, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, DBSM, is a nurse practitioner and sleep specialist. She earned a bachelor's in nursing at Bradley University, a master's in healthcare administration at Central Michigan University, a master's in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Illinois State University Mennonite College of Nursing, and a D.N.P. at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Her healthcare experience spans 46 years including direct care, research, executive leadership, teaching (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral programs), and D.N.P. program leader. Her contributions to advancing sleep health include peer-reviewed articles, books, websites, radio interviews, online and in-person presentations for healthcare professionals and public audiences.
