The security system of the valley is lacking the high tech policing, lacking of intelligence network, poor infrastructure as well as poor understanding of the tourism industry among the community in the periphery. Arun Kumar Sharma (30/12/1978) holds a M.A from TU and had published in several journals on tourism security, national security, diplomacy and disaster management. He is associated with Armed Police Force & served to UN's peacekeeping operation as a police advisor too. His family members have been involving in Tourism Industry of Pokhara & Nepal.
