I have been a poetry lover all my life, and I have been writing poetry for 62 years. I love all the classical poets and their words and have many personal favorites, among which is Shelley, Keats, Yeats, Teasdale, Browning, Burns, Hardy, Dickinson and Dylan Thomas. All of them inspired my writing and filled my soul with poetic fire. I hope that my poetry, in some way, touches the soul of those who read it.

Annie Johnson lives in Indiana. She has three grown children, Joe, Julianne, and Rose; two grown grandchildren, Stephanie and John. She has written poetry since she was 13 years old. Her daughter Julianne along with her mate Brian, moved in this year to help her. Besides her cats Goldie, and Tippy Toes, there’s a new addition of 3 more cats and two ferrets in the household. She feeds the squirrels peanuts at the front porch and they come up and take them from her hand. Her children and grandchildren come every Sunday for Sunday dinner and a good game of Spades or Up and Down the River.
