"St Swithin's Day: Questor" is a coming-of-age novel with a difference. Jo-Shi is fulfilling his dream to be the Questor, leaving the darkness of The Levels to find the first signs of a renewed world, ten generations after The Devastation shut out the sun's light and destroyed life on earth. We follow his adventures and see him coming to terms with the challenges presented to him on Colderth, encountering Wildlings who hunt him and the continuous rain that falls on St Swithin's Day. At home in the depths of Level One his family must wait and hope, uncertain if they will ever see him again. Will Jo-Shi return with the green oak leaf and lead his people up? Or will he be trapped out there in a hostile world?"Questor" is the first book in the two-part series. "New Order" follows in 2018.
