Neuware - During the past decades, the scientific discipline of Sports Didactics has developed in a heterogenous manner across national borders and individual university locations in Europe. Über die Autorinnen und Autoren: Brigitta Höger is a researcher and lecturer at the Education and Sports Culture group at the Institute of Sport Science, University of Vienna, Austria.

Konrad N. Kleiner (Dr.) is a professor of sport pedagogy (venia docendi) and former head of the Centre of Sports Didactics at the Institute of Sport Science, University of Vienna, Austria.

Dr. Benjamin Zander, Akademischer Rat auf Zeit im Arbeitsbereich Sportpädagogik und -didaktik am Institut für Sportwissenschaften der Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. Von 2011 bis 2016 war er Stipendiat und Kollegiat des FUNKEN-Nachwuchskollegs zur Fachdidaktischen Entwicklungsforschung an der Technischen Universität Dortmund. Zeitgleich forschte und lehrte er in den Arbeitsbereichen Sportpädagogik und Sportsoziologie am dortigen Institut für Sport und Sportwissenschaft. Forschungsschwerpunkte: Schulsport, sportbezogene Sozialisation, soziale Ungleichheiten.
