The Spider Web Philosophy unlocks the secrets to creating explosive growth and maximum effectiveness in your life and business while simultaneously creating an enhanced life/work balance. Your can live a life reimagined, discover your authentic self, reveal your true purpose and passions, and improve the quality of your most significant relationships by following our simple and proven steps. The Spider Web Philosophy is a paradigm shift. It’s like that little blue pill in the movie The Matrix that opens one’s mind to a new way of thinking. It is founded on the principles developed by individuals like Napoleon Hill and John C. Maxwell and practiced by contemporary figures such as Keith Ferrazzi, David Arvin, Susan RoAne, G. Brent Darnell and others who recognized the incredible power of connectedness. By tapping their knowledge and synthesizing it into a unified, practical, purposeful philosophy, we have created a system that has proven to be invaluable in our lives, bringing each of us success, happiness, and fulfillment. And we know it can do the same for you. The Mastermind team concept is the heart of the philosophy. This book and the guidance we offer take us back the heart of what a mastermind team should be - a personal board of advisors with a truly authentic and intimate connection to one another. Napoleon Hill's idea has been replicated with much success in a number of different ways and has garnered success for many of the participants that is measurable and undeniable. We, however, contend that the purest form of a mastermind team as Hill describe it is not what is being practiced today. There is certainly an exchange of ideas. Accountability is a positive byproduct of nearly every one of these teams. But the vulnerability and openness that groups studied by Napoleon Hill illustrated has been missing. The Spider Web Philosophy instructs the reader to seek out the relationships that allow the level of connection that not only touches your bottom line, but also connects to your soul. The book suggests the size and structure that should be used as a guideline for your unique grouping of minds and spirits on one accord. Along the way, we’ll also have a little fun as we look at spiders and their webs and appreciate them for the amazing evolutionary wonders that they are and draw out the numerous analogies we have found between a spider's web building activities and our networking efforts. At the end of each chapter, we’ll provide a summary of that chapter’s main takeaways, just to make sure you didn’t miss the important things. We’ll also provide some questions and action items that will help you build your web as you make your way through the book. We don’t claim to be experts on spiders. Far from it. We are, however, relationship experts. We have seen firsthand how fostering authentic relationships and then leveraging those relationships can help you determine your passions and purpose and help you get what you want out of life. We’ve all lived and continue to live the Spider Web Philosophy and have reaped the benefits of dedicating ourselves to it. We believe in the power of this philosophy, and we have the tangible proof of its effectiveness. The book shares stories about how we and others have utilized these precepts to reinvent our lives for the better. Now we wish to share this power with you and show you that, when you believe in it and adhere to its principles, when you live your life with purpose and open your mind and heart to God’s will, amazing things can happen. Amazing things will happen. "When spider webs unite they can tie down a lion" - Ethiopian Proverb

The DAWG team (a play on the initials of the group member's first names and the slang term for friends) Dwight, Aki, Wesley, and Greg have been forging and cementing their friendships since their early high-school days. Dwight and Wesley Pullen are siblings, born less than one year apart. Aki Jamal Durham met the Pullen brothers while he and Wesley were freshmen at Peabody High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Greg El came to know the brothers upon entering as a freshman into The Linsly School in West Virginia, where Dwight was a sophomore. They were later joined by Wesley at Linsly, who transferred there in his sophomore year. The four drew closer while in college. During that time, each of them participated in the INROADS college internship program, which brought the young men together at weekend trainings every summer. The DAWG team formed as a Master Mind group in 2006, at Greg’s suggestion, and the exchange of positive energy, critical and caring feedback, and accountability has been invaluable to each individual member. The years they've served as members of each other's personal board of directors have aided each of them in overcoming personal failures, achieving professional goals, and enhancing the quality of their lives in ways and measures they could not have imagined. It was this new way of sharing with one another that lead to the creation of the Spider Web Philosophy and the collaboration of coauthoring this book. They are available for speaking engagements, corporate trainings, and consulting opportunities, demonstrating the power of purposeful relationships and how those relationships create self-sustaining growth in any environment, culture, or industry.
