Emmaly hasn't heard from her father in ten years, but as the sun raises over the dusty plain, a package is delivered with his name on it. Inside was a device and a note that said, "Don't mess with it." Emmaly wasn't going to heed to a piece of paper from someone that doesn't call her on her birthday. She opens a new adventure and jumps headfirst into a new world with her Bald Eagle companion, Bill.

Born in Tampa, Florida, Douglas Dodd currently lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with his wife.
