There is a knock at the door—soft, persistent. Something has come to collect...

In his second collection, Ambrose Harte returns with a masterful blend of horror poetry and dark fiction, offering readers a candlelit path into the uncanny. The Soul Collector is a chilling anthology where each verse and tale conjures the strange, the spectral, and the supernatural.

From the vampiric vigil in Vampyre Watch, to the folkloric eeriness of The Walk, and the shadowed nostalgia of Black '47, Harte captures horror in its many forms—gothic, folkloric, psychological, and poetic. Anchored by the haunting title poem, this collection dares to explore the spaces between life and death, dream and nightmare, truth and tale.

Structured as a descent into layered darkness, The Soul Collector includes standout pieces such as The Faerie Child, A Poe(ish) Nightmare, and the spine-tingling triptych The Books of Blood I–III, each piece building toward an unsettling yet lyrical crescendo.

With a voice sharpened since his debut, Harte invites the brave to wander where shadows breathe and forgotten souls whisper.

Welcome to Dreamland. But be warned—the Soul Collector is doing his rounds.
