35 plates, 18 folding maps and plans, 12 of which are in a pocket on the inside of the back cover; xx+144pp. Large 4to orig. green cloth gilt, some wear on extremities, tiny split on upper joint, William Harding Thompson [1887-1946] was an architect who became the President of the Town Planning Institute. He produced similar works on other counties, including Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, for County Councils and the the Council for the Preservation of Rural England.
