The Solace Garden is a satire set in what's left of New England after catastrophic sea level rise that features: A female reporter who covers vehicle fires and craves meaning, an artist collective who take action for individuality and freedom through creativity, two elderly "brothers" who write and inspire beyond civilization. And through it all is The Saver. The Solace Garden examines genetically modified food and humans, politically weaponized religion, gun legislation, and our culture that's become too reliant on technology to solve our problems. Jason S. Hancock handles these issues with dark humor and absurdity. His intention is to raise questions for the reader about what may be possible given our current path and what we must avoid. The Solace Garden is a warning that we should never overlook the goodness that comes from valuing individuality, and how we are enriched through creativity, open mindedness, and free thought. You can learn more about Jason through his facebook page, Jason S.
