After a seven year run that has seen love, death, violence and college, the cult phenomenon Buffy the Vampire Slayer has finally reached its close.

Adhering to Virgin's successful programme guide format and the style of previous editions, Slayer: The Last Days of Sunnydale contains a complete episode-by-episode guide to the final season – Season Seven – with each episode broken down into recurring categories to draw attention to details that viewers might have missed. Bestselling author Keith Topping analyses the themes of the show, unearths pop culture and soundtrack information, serves up the best lines of dialogue, exposes continuity errors, while still managing to analyse the show's subtext and serious issues. In addition, there are sections on the first six seasons, the extensive media coverage of the series finale, the Internet realm of Buffy and what happens next in the Buffy-verse – all in a style that captures the unique humour of the show.

Vampires, violence, passion, angst and humour – Slayer: The Last Days of Sunnydale is the essential guide to the end of a teen phenomenon.
