Walt Merrell is a Christian, husband, father, attorney, writer and avid outdoorsman. As his three young daughters began to grow, Walt saw an opportunity to not only bond with his children, but also teach them about faith, love and adventure through hunting, fishing and exploring the wilderness. Shepherding Outdoors is a heartfelt collection of stories that will have readers laughing, crying and relating to the journey of the Merrell family. Walt lives in Andalusia, Alabama, with his wife, three daughters, and faithful dog, Lincoln. “If you love reading southern stories with a spiritual message, Shepherding Outdoors is a wonderful read about a Christian family, their shared adventures and their love of the outdoors. You'll find inspiration, humor, and comfort and my friend Walt’s words” (Mark Lowery).
