Peter Wysong, having divorced his way out of a miserably failed marriage, suddenly finds himself not only alone, but wondering what has happened to his life. His ex-wife has moved away with their young son, his business is falling to pieces, and he has no spiritual relationship to which to turn for comfort. Through a dating service he deceptively manages to meet a Christian woman who steals his heart on their first date, but refuses to see him again. He enlists a remarkable resource in an effort to understand the difference between her description of him as a name-only Christian, and someone "walking with the Lord." In the midst of progress sudden tragedy compounds his burden and his newly found faith is dramatically tested. "A magnificent job of helping us consider the deeper meaning of life, faith, marriage, and relationships! Terry Dodd has done a masterful job of making the Old Testament book, Song of Songs, come alive in a really applicable way through the life of Pete Wysong." -Steve Wood, Senior Pastor at Mount Pisgah UMC Atlanta, Georgia Song of Songs is a wedding song honoring marriage. The most explicit statements on sex in the Bible can be found in this book. God created sex and intimacy, however, and they are holy and good when enjoyed within the bounds of marriage. Although the author has fully retired from the promotional products industry, which fed he and his family for 40 years, he has not retired from his work for the Lord. This is Terry Dodd's fifth published book; one is a science fiction thriller, three are Christian novels, and the fifth is an inspirational Christian title. He also writes for his own New Day Newsletter. He and his wife Helga live in the Atlanta area.
