A mesmerizing array of portraits and landscapes, blurring concrete city streets with nature’s ethereal aura

The debut monograph of Chilean photographer Sebastian Sabal-Bruce weaves a narrative centered on a female protagonist emerging from confining urban landscapes. As she traverses these spaces, a poignant dance ensues between inauthenticity and authenticity, juxtaposing alienating city streets with raw, moonlit portraits.

Born in Chile, Sabal-Bruce's artistic journey spans various mediums. Beginning his career in drama in Santiago, he later pivoted towards fine arts in Spain, which serendipitously ushered him into photography. This intersection of theatre and photography allowed him to shed superfluous elements, directing viewers to the depth and essence of his subjects.
