How do you know that the recorded history inside a book is actually what happened? Yearning with ambition, Drew Faulkner longs to change his dreary, pointless life in Edinburgh. He is surprisingly presented with an once-in- a-lifetime opportunity to grasp that desire through time travel. Yes... time travel. He is selected, screened and trained to survive in another century. What gets him to 1867 China is love-attempting to win the love of the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, Lucy Oxford. What keeps him there is the realization that he can make a positive contribution in the lives of others-even those not yet born. Along his journey, Drew faces many dangers including explosions, knife fights, sharks, snakes and pirates-as well as a gambit of characters that can either help or hinder. Time travel is not for the faint-hearted.
