Satire Inedite is a book written by Bartolomeo Dotti in 1797. It is a collection of satirical poems that critique the social and political issues of the time. The book is divided into three parts, each focusing on a different theme. The first part deals with the corruption and hypocrisy of the church, the second with the abuses of power by the ruling class, and the third with the follies and vices of everyday life. Dotti's writing is witty, sharp and often scathing, using irony, sarcasm and exaggeration to expose the flaws and absurdities of the society he lived in. The book is considered an important work of Italian literature and a significant example of political satire in the late 18th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
