Inhaltsangabe:

A full-color graphic novel adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, using streamlined text and vivid illustrations to support fast, accessible reading.

A bitter feud between the Montagues and the Capulets keeps the city of Verona, Italy, in a state of constant unrest. Despite the enmity between their families, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet fall passionately in love. With the help of Friar Laurence, the young lovers wed in secret, hoping their marriage will finally unite the two families.

But things go terribly, tragically wrong.

One of Shakespeare’s most widely performed plays, Romeo and Juliet has been adapted for film, television, radio, opera, and more. This Quick Text edition presents the story in streamlined, accessible language alongside full-color sequential artwork, helping readers follow the action, characters, and emotional stakes.

Authentic yet easy to follow, this graphic novel adaptation supports classroom study, independent reading, and guided discussion of Shakespeare’s dramatic structure and enduring themes of love, family conflict, loyalty, and fate.
