River of No Return

I am a slow reader and also I am busy so my time to read is limited. I liked the book a lot because I was raised in the nearby mountains and I am familiar with the Salmon River and Snake river as well. I have been to many of the places mentioned in the book. I also have ran the rapids in the Snake river canyon with a fourteen foot Nez Perce warrior and a 35 HP Mervury outboard . I know how scary the rapids are and I can actually imagine myself with these brave pioneers as they did these runs on the Salmon River. I found the book very well written and very interesting. These were very tough times in history but I would gladly trade what we have now in 2013 for those olden days ( amazon customer)
