Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Linda Chadderton is a lecturer in law on the undergraduate LL.B. and postgraduate Legal Practice Course at UCLAN, and a solicitor and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. As a practicing solicitor she specialised in defendant litigation. She teaches tort law, litigation, personal injury, clinical negligence and professional skills. Her experience of working in the legal profession for 20 years and subsequently teaching the next generation of legal professionals means she is ideally placed to understand the issues and application involved in preparing for the SQE.
Dr David Sixsmith is an Assistant Professor at Northumbria University. He was previously a Senior Lecturer in Law and the programme leader for the Legal Practice Course and postgraduate SQE provision at the University of Sunderland. He is a non-practising solicitor and has previously been a partner at a high street firm. He is heavily involved with developing profession-facing legal education and teaches Dispute Resolution and Wills & Administration of Estates.
Dr Amy Sixsmith is an Associate Professor in Law and undergraduate LL.B. programme leader at the University of Sunderland. She has taught on undergraduate and postgraduate law courses for 12 years, and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She was one of the academic leads involved in transforming the University’s LL.B. programme to comply with the specification of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination, and has taught English Legal System to both law and non-law students.
