Research and Statistics Made Meaningful in Counseling and Student Affairs

The goal of this text is to help readers become statistically literate consumers of research and to provide readers with introductory skills in conducting statistical computation and research projects. This objective is accomplished by providing students with the basic concepts of research methodology and statistics in a student-friendly manner. The authors have attempted to present a balance of theory and practical application by guiding the reader through the development of a research proposal, and by including sample quantitative and qualitative research proposals.
