Research Methods in Psychology : A Practical Introduction

This textbook is a practical student guide to designing and carrying out a research project. It provides an introduction to the subject for 1st and 2nd year students who have no prior familiarity with doing research, and who particularly do not have an affinity for the subject. It is designed to be user-friendly with good structure and pedagogy and a readable, clear and engaging style. The book will follow the basic structure underlying any research project, starting with decisions about topic choice and progressing the competent handling of complex data, to using the SPSS statistical package.
