Report Writing Skills

"Report Writing Skills" is a guide which presents a step-by-step analysis of report writing, with systematic practice in all the important stages of the planning and writing process. There are texts drawn from a variety of sources, including newspapers, radio, consumer advice, committee work, employment and leisure. It iams to help students to develop skills such as summarising and expanding and it provides teachers with classroom-tested lesson materials and worked examples. Included is a special section which deals with the language, structure and conventions of reports. It also has a glossary of over 50 terms relating to reports and directed writing.
