Loan denman We have now to give our judgment in this case, which, from its importance and its difficulty, and other circumstances, has been delayed longer than we could have wished. In so doing, it will be necessary to go into a history of the transactions which have given existence to the cause; and the rather as in the course of our observations we shall think it right to examine minutely the allegations upon the record, upon which alone our decision must turn.
