In my book, I discuss my experiences and how they changed me. At a young age, I found myself knowing that I wanted to change my path in life and not become like my family. I knew that I would become an addict if I tried drugs, so I never tried them. I knew that if I were to become a father, I would never abuse my kids and always be there for them no matter what I had to. So I did! Becoming a parent changed my life in a way that I never thought was possible. It changed me and turned me into the man I am today.
There were times in my life where I couldn’t afford to put food on the table, but I found a way. There were times I couldn’t afford to put gas in my car to take my kids to school or get to work, but I found a way. When I began my career, I started at the bottom, and I was hungry, so I worked hard and mastered my trade. I spent countless days learning and working 15hr days, reading 2000 page manuals to better myself and understand the business process. I refused to let anything stand in my way. You will find stories and memories from my past that I hope will touch your heart and give you the strength you need to carry on.
