Do Your Own Parallel Bible Study
With the Renner Interpretive Version!

If you’ve longed to dive deep into your personal study of the Bible, but feel you lack the tools to study it as deeply as you’d like to, this study Bible is for you!

What is the Renner Interpretive Version? Rick Renner’s RIV is an expanded version based on the original language of the New Testament. It’s not a word-for-word translation, but a conceptual interpretation that extracts word pictures presented in the Greek and conveys them to readers using contemporary speech.

In this first installment of the RIV, you’ll find:

• insight into James’ and Jude’s first audiences and their circumstances.
• historical usage of the words presented that helps convey a message that is still relevant today.
• all this in 133 verses and more than 1,100 footnotes!

In every installment of the RIV, you can expect:

• historical introductions, including brief biographies of the authors.
• each verse expanded to communicate word pictures from the Koine Greek language that bring a fuller explanation of Scripture.
• large-sized, two-toned pages that make it easy to do a parallel comparison of the KJV with the RIV.
• easy-to-understand footnote explanations and commentary by Rick Renner based on his decades of scholarly research.

Without understanding the nuances in the language of the day in which Scripture was written, there are riches we can miss today. Let the RIV guide you into a fresh Bible-study adventure, beginning with this installment!
