Pat Zietlow Miller is the New York Times bestselling author of Be Kind. Her first book, Sophie’s Squash, received a Golden Kite Award, a Crystal Kite Award, a Charlotte Zolotow Honor, and an Ezra Jack Keats Honor. Patrice Barton is a children's book illustrator who discovered her artistic talents at the age of three when she was found creating a mural on the dining room wall with a pastry brush and a can of Crisco.
