Inhaltsangabe: This is the first comprehensive collection of court decisions dealing exclusively with the relationship between European Community law and the national laws of the Member States. It contains 90 decisions given between 1962 and 1993 by both the Community's Court of Justice (20 cases) and the courts of the 12 Member States (70 cases). The volume includes the recent decisions of national courts concerning the Maastricht Treaty. Key recurring topics of the decisions are the supremacy and direct effect of Community law, its impact on national sovereignty and constitutional rights, and the remedies available before national courts for its enforcement. All the texts are presented in English, having been translated wherever necessary. Each decision is preceded by a concise summary and key-word heading. The volume also includes a systematic introduction, digest of key-word headings, table of cases, and detailed index.
Rezension: 'Anyone interested in a comparative study of the impact of the Community on the legal order of its members will find this work an extremely useful collection of an important part of the raw material ? the book is a valuable and welcome resource.' International Affairs

Anbieterinformationen: We have been selling academic and scholarly books in Cambridge since 1996. Today we occupy an old warehouse on Coldhams Road, adjacent to the railway tracks leading to Ely, not too far from the airport. The site is called Restwell House. We are an internet bookshop, but visitors are very welcome. Some drop off a few boxes of unwanted books, some pick up a book to save on the postage, some just drop by to get to know us, or want to take advantage of the many bargains on our wooden shelves bookshop, which is distinct from the internet stock offered on the web. Our mission has always been to find new homes for the books we are looking after. If we cannot sell them online, we offer them at very low prices to our visitors. We try to give you a serious and dedicated service which is focussed on the individuality of each single book: its condition, its origin, sometimes even its smell. You come to us for real books, not just instances of ISBNs.
