The Reign: Asia and Oceania introduces young readers to the rich histories and cultures of 20 Afro-descended ethnic groups across Asia and the Pacific through vibrant visuals and clear, easy-to-understand historical information. Journey across islands, rainforests, deserts, and coastlines as you learn about the origins, traditions, and daily lives of groups such as the Chagossians, Siddi, iTaukei, Maniq, etc. Each group is explored through its history and environment, showing how people adapted, survived, and maintained their cultures over thousands of years. This book encourages curiosity and understanding by highlighting the diversity, strength, and lasting heritage of communities that have helped shape Asia and Oceania.
