Organized into entries on the 18 regions and subdivided into the 50 provinces, this one-stop reference makes gathering information on each region and province easy. ROBERT W. KERN is Professor of History at the University of New Mexico. He is the author of eight other books, five of which are about Spain, including Historical Dictionary of Modern Spain (Greenwood Press, 1990). He has spent some time living in Spain.
