It published 9 issues before merging with the local Screw newspaper to become Vortex. Reconstruction tended to focus mostly on social justice and anti-war activities, with a slight inclination toward the counterculture. This issue with several pieces on student protests/rioting at Kansas State University, including the heavy handed police response; a short piece on Black activist and minister John Swomly; a several page interview with Andy Rollins, a KSU student described as a "Black militant." This may be Reverend Andy Rollins, a minister and author. GOOD condition. Church mailing label, stamp, handwritten 3rd class, and cancellation on the lower front cover.
