A few of the notices of recent patents, which Ihave intentionally exhibited a beacons to deter from treacherous quicksands, not as lights to friendly havens. I have sought sincerely to make them all conducive, more onless, to utility; being either new contributions to the old stock of knowledge, or additions and corrections to the miscellaneous volume of which the present is the sequel.
