If you are fed up, let down, or flat-out tired of the dating scene, it helps to know that you aren't alone. That's just one of the take-aways from Mary Katharine O'Shae's new book, "Reasons I Should Have Become a Nun (Besides My Name)." Another lesson learned? The author has chronicled her always funny, often touching, and sometimes outrageous experiences with the opposite sex in this nuanced, naughty, no-holds-barred memoir. Throughout all the horrible hookups and terrible trysts, one thing remains constant -- a good man really is hard to find. As you read through each entry, it often feels like you are sitting with Mary and her cringe-worthy companions, witnessing each uncomfortable encounter up-close and personal. Her easygoing writing style and detail-driven diary entries allow readers to easily relate to her twisted trip through a never-ending tunnel of love. If you thought your love life was laughable, just wait till you read the exploits of this heartbroken humorist. She'll have you smiling and chuckling and forgetting about your own bad dates in no time.
