Death is infallible. that is the belief Destin holds most dear. As a reaper it is his job to free the souls of the recently dead. On one assignment close to home that belief is tested. The soul he was sent to reap is still alive. The threat this poses to his world sends him and a few friends deep into an investigation. When kids from the same orphanage he grew up in start to go missing, he is forced to enlist a former friend to help uncover the connection. In this story of death, life plays a vital role. A reaper's life is not for the faint of heart. Death tests its disciples regularly until they crack. Destin is no exception and this will prove to be his hardest challenge yet.
